Did this week feel extremely long to anyone else? I kept thinking it was the day after it actually was. I am SOO excited for this weekend. My mom and I are finally going to Privado (check out what Food & Wine wrote about it last month). We're also heading to the Fox for School of Rock which is always a treat. I was hoping to get some relaxation time in this weekend after a busy week but it doesn't seem like that will be happening. Good news is it's another spring like weekend here in St. Louis. As always, let me know what fun activities you're getting into this weekend and what I need to add to the list!
RFT United We Brunch: Who doesn't love brunch? (If you don't, well...we can't be friends) And who doesn't love brunch at a St. Louis landmark? This weekend is RFT's United We Brunch event. Bottomless drinks and bottomless brunch treats at Union Station. We went last year and had a blast. Tickets at $40 in advance. Saturday 11am-2:30. Tickets here.
Succulent Planting Class: My girl Macy at COMA is hosting a succulent planting class with LoKey Designs. It would be the perfect to make a little Galentine's Day gift, or just make something for yourself. Tickets are $35. Saturday 1pm. Details and tickets here.
School of Rock at The Fox: Ok, I have to admit something...I've never actually seen the movie School of Rock...I mean, I'm just not a very big Jack Black fan. But everyone says the musical is amazing and I we're going to a matinee which for me is always like a little treat during the day.
Beer Brunch at Center Ice: Speaking of brunch. I'm so excited for this collaboration between COMA, Center Ice and Alex from Sidney Street. It's a four-course brunch paired with beer. But hurry tickets are going fast! Sunday 10am. Tickets here.
Madagascar Release: And to finish off the weekend with more beer, the much anticipated release of 4 Hands Madagascar is this Sunday. Release begins at noon, but there will likely be a long line.
Welcome to my blog! Here you'll find a behind the scenes look at the day-to-day life of a TV news reporter. I have a love for food, traveling and all things St. Louis. This is a place for me to write about my passions.
