I wanted to see what I could do with a few extra hours in the morning, how much can I get down when devoting those hours to little ole' me? We shall see! So this morning I am taking the time to map out my week in my amazing new planner (Inkwell Press, obsessed.) and work on a menu plan for the week. I will also be making my way to boot camp, but that I generally schedule time for in the morning. It will be more crucial later this week to squeeze that work out early because I have a hundred meetings before work it feels like this week.
Did anyone catch the Golden Globes last night? I was working so only caught bits and pieces, but loved all the dresses and there were some great speeches. (Hello, Meryl's will be the one everyone's talking about at the water cooler -- do people even have water coolers at work anymore?) Watch the speech here.
I am so behind on my movie watching this season. We watched Hidden Figures over the weekend and I loved it. Such an inspirational movie. Its crazy to think how many women made a serious impact in our history that we don't know about. I had no idea there were even woman computers and engineers at NASA in the 50s and 60s. If you haven't seen it I definitely recommend it!
We finally took our tree down this weekend. And it leaves such an empty place in the apartment. I look at the space and can't imagine it didn't always look this empty. We're on the hunt for a desk to put in that corner so it fills it up a bit and we have a place to work other than the kitchen table.
