This week I said good-bye to my sister as she heads back to Spain for the year. It's really hard living so far from both of my sisters. We're incredibly close and only see each other a few times a year. But she and I had a blast this summer, exploring St. Louis and spending as much time together as possible. We had an epic last weekend with Loufest and Harry Potter at Powell Hall (the symphony played the score live, it was as magical as you could imagine.) We squeezed in one more delicious meal at Vista Ramen before she heads back to the land of tapas!
Otherwise this week the other thing making me smile was my effort to take more pictures. I know the basics of photography but am still really learning. So I'm trying to be better about taking my camera (not just my phone) out on walks with Ellie and taking pictures of the world around me.
The weekend is kicking off to a soggy start and unfortunately a lot of the fun events scheduled tonight have been canceled because of the rain. But I'm looking forward to a relaxing night listening to the rain outside and then hitting the road early tomorrow for the Mizzou game! I'm not a Mizzou fan but I am a fan of tailgating with my best friends. Let's hope the rain stays away! Here's a look at a few of the things that make me happy this week.
Welcome to my blog! Here you'll find a behind the scenes look at the day-to-day life of a TV news reporter. I have a love for food, traveling and all things St. Louis. This is a place for me to write about my passions.
